Our Story Begins

My name is Gabriel and hospitality is a second nature for me, I worked in many establishments, as waiter, bartender, chef, and  absolutely love it. Aprons were always part of my life and I took great pride in my uniform, but a lot of times were not built with the hospitality worker in mind, having so many aspects which can be improved.

One day, after a long shift, my leather apron was a mess, and realised I need to do something about it. And I decided to craft an custom apron for my needs. And so The Journey started. I put together with a few old craftman’s an beautiful, high quality, easy on/off, personalized,  long lasting apron from strain proof leather. 

The feedback regarding my new custom personalised apron from colleagues and restaurant customers was great, so I thought to myself: I should create aprons for other industry workers and any apron lover so they can enjoy high quality custom personalised leather apron as well,

How I fall in love with leather 

Looking back, I realised I fall in love with leather since I was a kid, when my mother couldn’t always afford to get me a good pair of leather shoes. I loved the look, the feel and the smell of real leather which had very strong characteristics. 

Later on, I always got as a part of my clothing, leather belts, jackets and my shoes were mostly made out of leather. As a waiter and bartender, my favourite apron was a real leather apron, personalised with the company logo, which make me feel an important part of that business

Adding cotton aprons and cork aprons

Learning more about various apron lovers needs, we learnt that some people need a lighter, breathable apron, and so we realised that we need to offer great cotton aprons to our customers. Our cotton fabric is blended with poliester, which makes the fabric wrinkle resistant and durable, 

Cork leather aprons idea started when we got a cork leather belt as a present from a friend in Portugal. And we saw how beautiful, flexible and waterproof cork leather is, along wit the fact that is responsible produced from cork oak trees,
